Brenda Bogart is a Dallas artist renowned for her compelling and conversation-starting collage work and paintings of famous, historical figures from Lincoln to Einstein. A visit to her airy studio readily reveals her inspiration. It is filled with a fascinating collection of centuries old handwritten letters, colorful handmade papers from around the world, plus various eclectic objects she has collected during her travels.

The “Dogs” series is silhouette prints on archival paper with no border. Signed archival prints are created from the original collages. Although the artist has hand cut the entire figure of the dog away from the background each piece still features the artist’s original signature.
