Located in the heart of The Charleston Place Hotel, the Palmetto Café, caters to guests for breakfast, lunch and private events. The cafe was reimagined by Elizabeth Stuart with a sophisticated Garden-inspired design that brings the breezy feel of the adjoining outdoor garden courtyard, inside.The café is anchored by a triptych of painted panels with soaring palm trees.Shades of green run throughout the space with accents of live foliage including tropical palms and plants. Intimate spaces were created throughout the dining area using both antique and contemporary furniture and accessories. Thoughtfully curated elements, including antique metal garden urns on stand, an oversized arched French bistro window mirrored to reflect the outside garden and an impressive framed painted “Rose Panel”, formerly the ceilingof an abandonedchurch in Italy, are all a nod to Charleston’s rich history of design.
